Money

You will find your money will go fast in Japan, but there are things you can do too ease your spending.

1 vending machines, look around in Tokyo they are every where, in one place a can of coke will cost 120 in another it can be 100, i try never to by drinks out of machines if the price is over 100

2 if your cooking food your self look around at the different shops, i lived in Kinshicho for 6 months last year, we found 4 places in a row to get any of the veg we wanted for around 100. If your eating out all the time there are a number of places you can a meal for 200-250 it always pays to shop around

Drugs, and other danger

If you don't know Japan has a strict no drugs policy, and you will be sent to jail if you are found with any then kicked out the country and not let back in.

If you do come across drugs in Japan, then you are in Roppongi or Kabukicho, these are also the places you might get robbed.

Now Kabukicho used to be the old red light district of Tokyo, and well still is if you as me. The place is full of Nigerians trying to get you to go into there small clubs to see There girls, lets put it simply there pimps, now the danger comes is if your on your own, that's who they target, they will try and get you in going on about there cheap drinks and there girls, don't, before you know it you've been charged for things you never ordered or asked for and you are held there until you pay. Now before you think, oh i'll stay away from there, there are some good places to go, which i will talk about in other posts.

Now Roppongi, I've never been there at night but i have been told by other people of things that have happened to them. Again if you are on your own or in a small group of 2 or 3 you get targeted by people wanting you to go into there small bars, but also if your not careful your drink could be spiked, someone i meet in Japan had been drugged while in that part of town, but they did buy him a hooker that he could not do anything with because of the drug they use and she got angry and stormed off, i know it sounds funny but be careful.

Hello and welcome to my blog, i have decided to share with you some things i've learned about living in Tokyo, and i hope this will help you if you ever come here.

1 Japan is not cheap, you may think you have lots of money but it soon goes.

2 Be careful, Japan may almost be crime free, but there are still areas that you should watch out.

3 if your going to Tokyo in the summer time, it gets dam hot

As the blog goes on i will go into more detail as too these things and more, i hope you all enjoy this blog and it helps you ^^
